These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of InstiB – School Management Software. By accessing or using InstiB, the school agrees to be legally bound by these terms.
If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
2. Definitions
“InstiB” refers to the school management software platform and services.
“School” means an authorized educational institution using InstiB.
“Users” include administrators, teachers, parents, and students authorized by the school.
“Services” mean all software features provided by InstiB.
3. Eligibility (Schools Only)
InstiB is strictly available only to schools.
Colleges, universities, coaching centers, tuition institutes, or training organizations are not permitted to use InstiB.
4. Software License & Usage Rights
InstiB grants schools a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software during the subscription period for internal school operations only.
5. User Roles & Responsibilities
Schools control user creation and access rights.
Users must maintain confidentiality of login credentials.
All actions performed under a school account are the school’s responsibility.
6. School Responsibilities & Data Accuracy
Schools are responsible for:
Accuracy of data entered into InstiB.
Obtaining required consents from parents and staff.
Compliance with education and data protection laws.
7. Payment, Subscription & Renewal
Services are provided on a subscription basis.
Fees, billing cycles, and renewal terms are governed by separate commercial agreements.
Non-payment may result in suspension of services.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
InstiB retains all rights to:
Software code
Platform design
Trademarks, logos, and documentation
No ownership rights are transferred to the school.
9. Data Ownership & Control
All school data remains the property of the school.
InstiB has no ownership or commercial rights over school or student data.
10. Prohibited Activities
Users must not:
Attempt unauthorized access or data extraction.
Reverse engineer or copy the software.
Use InstiB for unlawful or non-school purposes.
Upload harmful or malicious content.
11. Service Availability & Downtime
InstiB strives for high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance or unforeseen technical issues may cause temporary downtime.
12. Third-Party Integrations
InstiB may integrate third-party services. InstiB is not responsible for third-party service availability or policies.
13. Termination & Suspension
InstiB may suspend or terminate access if:
Terms are violated.
Payments are overdue.
Legal or security risks arise.
Schools may terminate as per agreed notice terms.
14. Limitation of Liability
InstiB shall not be liable for:
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Data loss caused by user actions or external factors.
Academic or administrative decisions made using the software.
15. Indemnification
Schools agree to indemnify InstiB against claims arising from:
Data misuse.
Legal non-compliance.
Unauthorized user actions.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction (India)
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
17. Amendments to Terms
InstiB may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
